Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring is done to evaluate your how your blood pressure changes during your normal daily activities.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor
Your blood pressure will be monitored for up to 22 hours. A blood pressure cuff around your arm will measure your blood pressure every 30 minutes during the day and every 60 minutes at night while you sleep
No appointment is necessary.
There is a $75 fee for this test. It is not covered by OHIP.
How to Prepare for Monitoring
- Bring a list of all current medications to your appointment.
- Wear comfortable loose clothing.
